Peer Review Process

Authors can suggest a maximum of 7 potential reviewers to review their papers (please include the following information, eg title, name, institution, postal address, and email address). Authors can also propose unwanted individuals/reviewers not to review their articles (maximum of 5 researchers with reasonable explanations). The reviewer must have an ID-Scopus or be noted as the first author in this journal with a minimum of a doctorate.

Reviewers can also be invited from journals published by major publishers such as Elsevier or Springer. However, they must come from a different institution from the writer; preferably from various countries. The reviewer must not experience a conflict of interest involving the writer or manuscript. However, editors are not obliged to use reviewers who are suggested by the authors.

All manuscripts sent to SiPoSE will be read and reviewed with a confidential identity (double-blind peer review) by at least 2 peer reviewers who are experts in their fields. The service flow can be seen on this page. Editors may assign Reviewers from SiPoSE peer reviewers, suggestions of Authors, other researchers, and/or other SiPoSE Editorial Members. Admission of the manuscript depends on the novelty of the research, the importance of the article, the truth of the content, the degree of originality, clarity of description, and conformity with the purpose of the journal.

Manuscripts can be accepted without revisions, minor revisions, large revisions, or even rejected. The final decision on acceptance of the manuscript must be made by the Editorial Board in accordance with the reviewers' critical comments. The results of the articles reviewed by reviewers will be notified to the author via email. The author is given the opportunity to revise his article based on the advice of reviewers and editors no later than 8 weeks after email notification.
